Description
Embark on a wilderness safari to track gorillas and chimpanzees in two famous National Parks of Uganda: the Bwindi National Park and the Kibale National Park. Spend some time with the primates- gorillas and chimps, to study their behaviours and habits and then, go on exciting game drives to spot varied wildlife. And capture beautiful pictures as you pass through the Equator while returning.
Itinerary

Day 1: Depart for Bwindi National Park
- You will be met by your tour guide and be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have a stopover at the Equator for an informative talk and photographic opportunity and then continue to Mbarara for Lunch.
- Travel through the ‘Switzerland of Uganda’ with rolling green hills through the highlands, with views of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo, reaching Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the rare mountain gorillas in the late afternoon.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
- Full days exploration in the park, tracking gorillas, for this park of tracking is that you needed to be in a good health. You will have a brief before you begin the walking safaris.
- You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which trek can take from half an hour to 9 hours. It’s amazing to sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them marvel and grumble to each other. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful creatures left, which is allowed for only 1-hour time permitting.
- After the gorilla trek, take a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail, which leads to three delightful crystal-clear waterfalls views of epiphytic ferns, tree ferns, orchids colourful butterflies or have a guided village walk to see how the Ugandans live.

Day 3: Kibale National Park
- After breakfast, depart early at 7:00 am to Kibale Forest National Park with a scenic drive.
- Have a stopover for lunch. Continue to the lodge, check-in and have an afternoon off for relaxing.

Day 4: -Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
- After breakfast, apart from chimpanzees, over 13 species of primates including red-tailed and grey cheek Mangabey, birds and other primates.
- Have a wonderful experience viewing other mammals including smaller elephants, giant forest hogs, buffalo, and antelope species. The guide will provide detailed explanations of flora and Fauna to ensure that your walk is both enjoyable and informative.

Day 5: - Depart for Kampala
- After morning breakfast, head to Kampala or Entebbe to drop you off at your hotel, or to catch your flight back home.
