Sign up for this tour and embark on one of the most scenic trails in Rwenzori Mountains National Park to experience the thrill of White water rafting on the source of the Nile. Meet shy Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga National Park and explore the Queen Elizabeth National Park for its unique wildlife such as the African elephant, hippopotamus Nile crocodile, leopard, and chimpanzee.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport & Transfer to Kampala
- Meet your guide upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, and then you will be welcomed by our company safari guide, depending on your flight arrival. After greetings, he will drive you to your pre-booked accommodation in Kampala.
- Spot Lake Victoria from the road and get your first sights of Uganda. Check-in for relaxation as you prepare for tomorrow’s adventure safari in Jinja.
Dinner and overnight at Imperial Royale or acacia lodge. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2: White Water Rafting on the Nile River
- After a heavy breakfast at the lodge, our safari guide will pick you up very early in the morning and drive you to the eastern part of Uganda to Jinja; the drive takes about 2-3 hours, passing via Mabira forest Uganda’s biggest forest.
- If lucky, spot various primates and birds along the roadside in the Mabira forest. At the source of the Nile, you will enjoy white water rafting, one of the memorable adventurous safari activities.
- Enjoy half day rafting.
- After lunch, you will depart back to Kampala; you may go for some shopping in Kampala and later to your Pre-booked accommodation for dinner and overnight at Imperial Royale or acacia lodge. Half board drinks do not include White Water Rafting in Uganda.

Day 3: Depart to Rwenzori Mountain
- After breakfast, drive you to Fort portal before traffic gates are wrong in Kampala. You will get in time at Fort Portal town for lunch as we enjoy the landscape with villages and tea plantations passing by the windows.
- After lunch in the fort portal, you will proceed to your booked accommodation in the Rwenzori Mountains.
Dinner and overnight at Trekkers Hostel on an entire board basis.

Day 4: Montane Forest Zone
- Start the hike that goes through the Afro-montane forest zone, and the climb today goes for about 6 kilometres. The climb will take you along the steep rim next to the sine hut, close to the beautiful Enock waterfalls.
You will have an overnight at Sine Hut on the Rwenzori Mountain.

Day 5: Lobelia garden
- Embark on hiking through the Bamboo zone and head to Kalalama camp. Here you will stop for a shorter rest and refresh, and then after, you will climb high before crossing a thick forest covered with hanging mosses to a small lobelia garden.
- You then descend through a mossy ridge to Samalira camp, and you will have your overnight within this camp.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- This is the last day on the Rwenzori mountain and the last day of the hike, and you will descend through the bamboo zone on the heavy forest edge. Using this route, you stand a chance to come across many species of primates, including the black and white Columbus monkeys, baboons, and bird species, among many other forest dwellers if lucky, as we continue down to the base camp where you will find your safari guide.
- Drive to your booked lodge at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park.
Dinner and overnight at Pumba safari cottages, Mweya safari lodge, Kyambura gorge, Bush lodge on the entire board

Day 7: Kazinga Channel
- Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, and then after, you will embark on a morning game drive at the park and catch up with many species of animals that live and feed on the lake. Games are expected to see include lion, elephant, leopard, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, and giant forest hogs, among many others. After return back to the lodge for lunch.
- Embark on a 2 hours launch cruise on the Kazinga channel for an opportunity to view various species of animals, including schools of hippos and crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants, as well as birds can be spotted along the shoreline.
- After this beautiful experience, returns to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pumba safari cottages, Mweya safari lodge, Kyambura gorge, and Bush lodge on a full board basis.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
- This morning after breakfast, our safari guide will transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park via the Ishasha sector of the park, famously known for its tree-climbing lions. You will stand a chance to spot them sited on fig trees or tree branches. During a game drive to the park, you will spot other animals, including the topis, elephants, warthogs and buffaloes, among many others.
- Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park prominently known for housing the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive will take you through villages, cultivated hills, and the forest-covered mountains of Bwindi.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
- Gorilla trekking Uganda After morning breakfast, report to the park headquarters to receive short briefings from the park wardens or senior ranger guide about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas and get you allocated to the gorilla family to track. After, the ranger guide will head you deep into the forest to catch up with the endangered apes. The time taken to meet the gorillas is unpredictable, and it can go from half to full-day depending on the gorilla family trekked, so some level of physical fitness is needed. Once the gorillas are met, you will forget all the troubles you have gone through and utilise the one hour allowed to stay with the gorillas.
- Come to the starting point where you will meet your safari guide/driver, who will drive you back to your lodge for late lunch.
- If you still have energy, you will go for a community walk and meet the Batwa pygmy for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Lodge, Buhoma lodge, sanctuary gorilla, Bukima Lodge, Buhoma community bandas

Day 10: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
- After breakfast, embark on the long drive back to Entebbe international park with a lunch enroute in Mbarara and a stop at the Equator crossing for photography. It’s here where the northern- and southern hemispheres meet.
- Continue with your drive to Entebbe international airport. If your departure flight is one this day, you will fly back home, or if it’s on the following day, plan an extra night and fly the next day.
