Itinerary

1. Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

   • Your adventure begins with a departure from Kampala, where you'll embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. 
   • En route, enjoy a stop at the Equator for memorable photographs at this iconic global landmark. 
   • Continue through the picturesque highlands of western Uganda, arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity, including over 459 mountain gorillas and a variety of other wildlife.
   • Upon arrival, check into your accommodation near the park, with options based on your allocated trekking sector. The journey spans approximately 10 hours, featuring breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Kabale and Kisoro.

   Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

2. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure and Lake Bunyonyi Transfer

   • Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. 
   • At 8:00 AM, embark on a thrilling mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi's dense forest. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. 
   • Once you encounter these majestic creatures, you'll have up to one hour to observe and photograph them, creating unforgettable memories.
   • Following the trek, return to the park headquarters to collect your well-earned gorilla trekking certificate. 
   • Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the second deepest lake in Africa, for a relaxing evening boat cruise. 
   • Enjoy a picturesque journey around the lake’s numerous islands, with a chance to capture the stunning sunset.
   • Check-in at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.

   Activities: Gorilla trekking and boat cruise

3. Day 3: Return to Entebbe/Kampala

   • On your final day, enjoy breakfast at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort before beginning your return journey to Entebbe. 
   • The drive, lasting over 8 hours, includes a lunch stop en-route. 
   • Arrive in Kampala in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or place of residence, concluding your safari adventure.

   Destination: Entebbe Airport

   Activities: Scenic drive back to Entebbe
