Day 2: Tarangire National Park
- Begin your safari by 8 am in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel at Moshi or Arusha. With everyone aboard, you will head towards Tarangire National Park. The 150 km drive from Arusha will be covered in about 3 hours. The national park is extremely famous and special for its diverse landscape and nine different vegetation zones.
- As you begin your game drive, you will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic Baobab trees, which make even animals like the giraffe look tiny. The game drive goes on till about late afternoon and includes a small stop for a picnic lunch. Don’t forget to capture this beautiful scenery with your camera ready at hand.
- Later you will head to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Endoro Lodge
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
- Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park and pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue your journey around the crater and descend to the other side. Enjoy your free “African massage” on the bumpy road, passing through Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Hot lunch will be served either at the gate or en route towards the heart of Serengeti with an incredible set-up by your guide inside the bush.
- The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. You will have an unlimited drive until the evening when you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti to North Serengeti)
- You will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park and move towards the northern part. As you approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual plain grassland to a more hilly and broken terrain. The northern region offers a variety of resident game such as zebras, Topi, Gazelle, Buffaloes, Leopards and Lions. A picnic lunch will be served during the day-long drive itself.
- Depending on your arrival time, you will be able to spend a few hours by the Mara River. The eventful day will end with a heavy dinner and a good night's rest in your accommodation.
Accommodation: Mara Kati Kati Tented Lodge
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: North Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, we continue with a game drive to view the great migration. River crossings start in August as the mega herd settles into the area. Between august and october, game viewing is at its best, with river crossings pretty much guaranteed. There is no distinct movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the rains and subsequent fresh grasses.
- Please note that it can be very difficult to witness a crossing and that it is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decide to cross a couple of days later.
