Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival Day

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you'll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. 
   • Take the day to relax and unwind after your journey, or explore the bustling town at your own pace. 
   • Depending on your arrival time, you may opt for a cultural tour or visit a local market. 

   Enjoy a restful evening as your exciting adventure through Tanzania’s national parks begins tomorrow.

2. Day 2: Arusha – Arusha National Park

   • After breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Arusha National Park. This lush park is home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and the rare colobus monkeys. 
   • Take a scenic hike around the foothills of Mount Meru or enjoy a canoeing safari on the small Momella Lakes, where flamingos can often be spotted. 
   • After a thrilling day in the park, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

3. Day 3: Arusha – Lake Manyara

   • Depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems and famous tree-climbing lions.
   • Enjoy a game drive along the shores of the lake, where you’ll spot herds of elephants, flocks of flamingos, and other wildlife such as hippos and giraffes. The park's lush groundwater forest offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. 
   • After a full day of exploration, head to your lodge or camp in the Lake Manyara area for an overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti

   • After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara and drive towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. 
   • En route, enjoy the changing landscapes, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. 
   • Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll witness vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with predators like lions and cheetahs. Soak in the open savannah and sweeping vistas that make this park world-famous. 
   • End the day at your lodge or camp in Serengeti.

5. Day 5: Serengeti

   • Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. 
   • Head out early in the morning for a game drive, as this is the best time to catch predators like lions and leopards on the prowl. You’ll have a chance to witness the Great Migration, depending on the season, with millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing the plains. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wildlife before continuing your safari adventure. 

   Stay overnight in the heart of Serengeti.

6. Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

   • After breakfast, embark on a final morning game drive in Serengeti, spotting any wildlife you may have missed. 
   • Afterwards, begin your journey towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 
   • En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Learn about the early human fossils discovered here before proceeding to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater rim. 

   Relax and prepare for the next day’s crater expedition.

7. Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire

   • Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable safari experience. The crater is home to the “Big Five” and offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 
   • Enjoy game viewing in this unique ecosystem, which includes savanna, forest, and wetlands. 
   • After a picnic lunch in the crater, ascend and drive to Tarangire National Park. 
   • Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for a relaxing evening in this beautiful park.

8. Day 8: Tarangire – Airport

   • On your final day, embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees, the park is a stunning final stop on your safari. 
   • Spot a variety of wildlife including giraffes, lions, and antelope. 
   • After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s incredible landscapes and wildlife.
