Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Arusha is a lively town known as the safari capital of Tanzania, situated below Mount Meru. 
   • After checking in and freshening up, you can relax at the lodge or stroll around the vibrant markets and cafes. 
   • Enjoy your evening at the lodge as you prepare for the exciting journey. Overnight at a lodge in Arusha.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive from Arusha. This park is famed for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants, often seen digging for underground water during the dry season. 
   • With its diverse landscape of swamps, savannahs, and rivers, Tarangire is home to an array of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and various bird species. 
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive, pausing for a picnic lunch amidst nature. 
   • In the evening, head to your lodge in Tarangire for dinner and relaxation.

3. Day 3: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and lush groundwater forest. This compact park also boasts breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. 
   • You’ll embark on a game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and hippos around the lake. 
   • In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and a serene evening. Overnight at a lodge in Manyara.

4. Day 4 and 5: Central Serengeti Adventure

   • After breakfast, journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park, home to the spectacular Great Migration. You’ll arrive in the central region, known for its open plains teeming with wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and wildebeest. 
   • Over the next two days, immerse yourself in game drives across the Serengeti, where every corner offers something new—whether it’s witnessing a predator on the hunt or a herd of zebras grazing. 
   • Your evenings will be spent at a lodge in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Overnight at a lodge in Serengeti.

5. Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

   • After a hearty breakfast, set off for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the world. 
   • The crater, formed by a volcanic explosion millions of years ago, hosts a self-contained ecosystem, home to nearly every species of East African wildlife. 
   • Descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, black rhinos, and flamingos on the crater lake. In the evening, retreat to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and rest.

6. Day 7: Karatu to Arusha

   • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing Karatu. 
   • As you drive back to Arusha, you can take in the views of the lush highlands and rural Tanzanian life. 
   • Once in Arusha, you’ll have some time to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or simply unwind before your departure. Spend your final night in a lodge in Arusha.

7. Day 8: Departure

   • After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of your time in Tanzania.
