Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. 
   • Relax and prepare for your adventure while soaking in the vibrant local culture. 
   • In the evening, enjoy a pre-safari briefing and learn about the upcoming itinerary. This bustling city offers a chance to explore colourful markets, meet friendly locals, or simply unwind before the journey begins. 
   • Overnight in Arusha.

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast baobab trees and large elephant herds. 
   • The park’s river serves as a lifeline, attracting wildlife like giraffes, buffalo, and various antelope species. Predators such as lions and leopards are also commonly seen. 
   • Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats, including open savannah, acacia woodlands, and seasonal swamps.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery before heading to your lodge in the evening.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet vibrant park famous for its tree-climbing lions and scenic landscapes. The park is a birdwatcher's paradise, with thousands of flamingos and a variety of other waterfowl along the soda lake. 
   • Drive through lush groundwater forests, spotting monkeys, baboons, and elephants along the way. 
   • With a mixture of dense forest and open floodplains, this park offers a unique safari experience. 
   • Return to your lodge by evening to relax and prepare for the journey to the Serengeti.

4. Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Central)

   • Head towards the Serengeti, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands along the way. 
   • Upon arrival in the Serengeti, explore the central Seronera region, famous for its year-round wildlife viewing. The Serengeti is home to Africa’s “big five” and an array of other species including cheetahs, gazelles, and hyenas. 
   • Take a game drive to see herds of wildebeest and zebra traversing the plains, a truly iconic sight. 
   • Spend the night at a camp or lodge within the park’s heart, surrounded by nature’s raw beauty.

5. Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Full Day)

   • Spend a full day in the Serengeti, starting with an early morning game drive when animals are most active. 
   • Traverse the park's expansive plains, visiting various habitats from riverine forests to kopjes, where lions, leopards, and other predators often rest. 
   • Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Migration, a spectacle of millions of animals moving across the plains. 
   • Return to your camp or lodge in the evening, soaking in the magic of the African wilderness under a starlit sky.

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater and Departure

   • Depart for Ngorongoro Crater, descending into this volcanic caldera for a morning game drive. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and hippos. 
   • The Lerai Forest shelters monkeys and a variety of bird species, while the crater’s floor is often teeming with herds of herbivores. 
   • After a memorable morning, ascend the crater and enjoy a picnic lunch with panoramic views. 
   • In afternoon transfer back to Arusha for your departure.
