Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Serengeti National Park

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted by your safari guide and embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park.
   • Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will witness the dramatic transition from the lush highlands to the iconic plains of the Serengeti.
   • Upon arrival at Seronera Campsite, nestled in the central Serengeti, set up camp and enjoy your first game drive in the late afternoon.
   • As the sun sets, return to the campsite for dinner under the vast African sky.

2. Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti

   • Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, where the rising sun bathes the savannah in golden light.
   • Explore the Seronera region, renowned for its year-round wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs.
   • Return to the campsite for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti's ever-changing landscapes, from acacia-dotted plains to rocky outcrops, provide the perfect backdrop for spotting diverse wildlife.
   • After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, relax back at Seronera Campsite.

3. Day 3: Serengeti Exploration

   • Another day of adventure awaits in Serengeti National Park. Begin with a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. Witness the dramatic life-and-death struggles of the Serengeti’s inhabitants, from herds of wildebeest and zebras to the predators that stalk them.
   • After breakfast at the campsite, explore the park’s varied ecosystems, including riverine woodlands and kopjes, where lions often bask in the sun.
   • Enjoy a leisurely lunch back at camp, followed by an afternoon game drive.
   • As the day ends, unwind at Seronera Campsite.

4. Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • After a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, bid farewell to the endless plains and begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
   • En route, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the African wilderness.
   • Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim by late afternoon, where you will set up camp at the Simba Campsite.
   • Marvel at the breathtaking views of the crater below, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most remarkable natural wonders. Relax and prepare for an exciting day ahead.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

   • Rise early for a full-day exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for wildlife.
   • Descend 600 meters into the crater floor, where a dense concentration of animals awaits. Here, you can spot the "Big Five" — lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes — and numerous other species, including flamingos around Lake Magadi.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater as you soak in the surrounding beauty.
   • After a day of spectacular wildlife viewing, ascend to the crater rim for your final night at Simba Campsite.

6. Day 6: Return to Arusha and Departure

   • After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro Crater and head back to Arusha.
   • As you drive through the scenic landscapes, reflect on the incredible experiences of your safari adventure.
   • Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy a farewell lunch and take some time to explore the local markets or relax before your departure.
   • Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey, concluding your unforgettable Tanzanian camping safari.
