Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • Begin your adventure with a journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant population and majestic baobab trees. Depart from Arusha in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive to the park. 
   • Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive, where you'll spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras, alongside the park's famous elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wild landscape before continuing your safari in the afternoon.
   • As the sun sets, head to Karatu Tented Lodge, your home for the next three nights. The lodge offers comfortable accommodation and a serene environment, perfect for unwinding after an exciting day. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax under the stars, reminiscing about the day's adventures.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Start your second day with an early breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater, a large volcanic caldera, hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including the Big Five-lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. 
   • Descend into the crater floor for a day of spectacular game viewing. Marvel at the diverse ecosystems, from open savannahs to dense forests and soda lakes. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where you can watch these massive creatures wallow in the water. 
   • In the afternoon, continue exploring the crater's unique landscape and spotting more wildlife. Return to Karatu Tented Lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation, sharing stories of the day's unforgettable sights.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

   • On the third day, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its lush scenery and diverse birdlife. After breakfast, drive to the park and begin your exploration with a game drive. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and striking groundwater forest. 
   • Navigate through the diverse habitats, from the forest to the lakeshore, observing animals such as elephants, hippos, and numerous bird species. Take in the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, absorbing the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, continue your exploration before heading back to Karatu Tented Lodge. Spend your final evening at the lodge, enjoying a sumptuous dinner and reflecting on the wildlife and landscapes you've encountered.

4. Day 4: Departure to Arusha

   • Your final day begins with a leisurely breakfast at Karatu Tented Lodge. Afterward, prepare for your journey back to Arusha. Take some time to relax and savor the lodge's tranquil environment before checking out. 
   • Depart for Arusha, where you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing, depending on your flight schedule. Reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days-from the diverse wildlife encounters to the stunning landscapes and the comfort of your lodge stays.
