Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive through scenic landscapes. 
   • Known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire provides a rich tapestry of wildlife. Look out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species roaming the grassy plains. The park's life-giving Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, making it a photographer's haven. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. 
   • As the sun sets, exit the park and head to your nearby lodge or campsite for a relaxing evening under the stars.

2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Start the day with breakfast before driving to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its lush vegetation and alkaline lake teeming with flamingos. The park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting over 400 species. 
   • Spot tree-climbing lions lounging on acacia branches and observe hippos wallowing in the water. The forested areas are home to troops of baboons and playful monkeys. 
   • Enjoy a game drive and lunch in the park, then head to your accommodation near Karatu for an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world-famous crater. 
   • This natural amphitheater is a haven for wildlife, featuring dense populations of lions, black rhinos, and herds of wildebeests and zebras. Witness the interplay of predators and prey against the backdrop of the crater's stunning landscape. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim and returning to Arusha by late afternoon, concluding your safari adventure.
