Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. 
   • Enjoy the scenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro and prepare for your upcoming adventure. 
   • Spend the evening relaxing or exploring the vibrant town.

2. Day 2-3: Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour

   • Over two days, discover the lush Materuni village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. 
   • Hike through lush vegetation to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. 
   • Enjoy a refreshing dip and a picnic lunch amidst the pristine surroundings. 
   • On the second day, immerse yourself in the local coffee-making tradition, guided by Chagga farmers. 
   • Learn about the process of coffee cultivation, roasting, and brewing while savouring the freshest cup of coffee.

3. Day 4: Arusha National Park

   • Travel to Arusha National Park, known for its varied landscapes, including lush forests, the Momela Lakes, and Mount Meru.
   • Spot diverse wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys. 
   • Take a canoeing safari along the lakes to see waterfowl and hippos up close. 
   • Return to your lodge in the evening, surrounded by the park's tranquil beauty.

4. Day 5-6: Tarangire National Park

   • Over two days, experience Tarangire's vast savannahs and iconic baobab trees. 
   • Renowned for its large elephant herds, the park also hosts lions, leopards, zebras, and an array of bird species. 
   • Explore the Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. 
   • Spend your evenings relaxing at a lodge or tented camp within the park, immersed in the sounds of the wild.

5. Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Set out for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingos. 
   • The park is nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment, offering dramatic landscapes. Watch for baboons, hippos, and giraffes as you drive along the lake’s shores. 
   • After a full day of wildlife spotting, settle into your accommodation nearby.

6. Day 8-10: Serengeti National Park

   • Begin your exploration of the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. 
   • Over three days, experience the vast plains teeming with wildlife. 
   • Witness the iconic Great Migration (seasonal), where wildebeest and zebras traverse the landscape in search of fresh grazing grounds. 
   • Search for the Big Five and other animals like cheetahs, gazelles, and hyenas. Enjoy evening campfires and storytelling under the star-filled Serengeti skies.

7. Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. The crater floor is home to lions, rhinos, elephants, and an array of bird species. 
   • The lush environment and plentiful water make it an oasis for both predators and prey. 
   • After an exhilarating day of game drives, head to your lodge with spectacular views of the crater rim.

8. Day 12-13: Amboseli National Park

   • Cross into Kenya to visit Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. 
   • Over two days, explore the park’s diverse habitats, from swamps to savannahs. 
   • Capture breathtaking photos of wildlife against the backdrop of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro. 
   • Learn about the park's conservation efforts and the Maasai culture during optional cultural visits.

9. Day 14: Departure to Nairobi

   • Conclude your safari with a scenic drive to Nairobi. 
   • Along the way, reminisce about the incredible experiences and landscapes you have encountered. 
   • Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
