Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha for a relaxing evening. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, set against the backdrop of Mount Meru and offering the perfect base for the start of your adventure. Overnight at a comfortable lodge in Arusha where you can unwind after your journey.

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. 
   • Spend the day on a game drive, spotting wildlife like lions, giraffes, and wildebeest, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park. 
   • As evening falls, you’ll check into your lodge near the park for a restful night surrounded by nature.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

   • Start the day with a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famed for its tree-climbing lions and flamingo-filled shores.
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive, keeping an eye out for hippos, zebras, and a variety of bird species. 
   • As the day ends, retire to your lodge nestled in the beauty of Manyara’s surroundings.

4. Days 4-5: Serengeti National Park (Central)

   • Today, venture to the Central Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. 
   • Over the next two days, immerse yourself in the Serengeti’s stunning landscapes, witnessing the Great Migration (depending on the season), and spotting predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards on thrilling game drives. 
   • Relax each evening at your lodge in the heart of the Serengeti.

5. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Depart Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the world’s largest volcanic caldera. 
   • Descend into the crater for a unique game drive, where you can see the Big Five – lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo – alongside wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. 
   • After an unforgettable day, you’ll drive to your lodge in Karatu for the night.

6. Day 7: Karatu to Arusha & Flight to Zanzibar

   • Enjoy a leisurely morning before departing Karatu for Arusha. 
   • After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. 
   • Upon arrival on the island, you’ll be greeted and driven to your lodge where you can relax and begin your beach retreat.

7. Days 8-9: Zanzibar Island – Beach Time

   • The next two days are yours to indulge in the sun-soaked beaches of Zanzibar. 
   • Whether you choose to swim in the warm waters, explore local spice farms, or simply relax by the ocean, these days are all about unwinding. Enjoy the laid-back island vibe and treat yourself to the best of Swahili culture and coastal charm.

8. Day 10: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

   • After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in paradise. You’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and the turquoise waters of Zanzibar.
