-
Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

-
Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
- Today’s trek takes you out of the forest and onto the moorlands.
- Hike across open landscapes with incredible views of the Shira Plateau.
- As you ascend, the vegetation becomes sparse, and the air thinner.

- Dinner and overnight at Shira Camp.
-

- After 6-8 hours of hiking, you'll reach Barranco Camp, nestled in a dramatic valley beneath the Great Barranco Wall.
-
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Start your day by tackling the challenging but rewarding Barranco Wall, a steep but manageable climb that offers stunning views from the top. The trail then becomes easier as you traverse through the Karanga Valley.

- This shorter day is designed for further acclimatization, allowing you to rest and prepare for the days ahead.
-
