Known for its year-round water supply, Tarangire is home to various wildlife, including the famous climbing leopards and herds of elephants of all ages. Keep your eyes peeled for a majestic bull elephant travelling alone.

Tarangire National Park
- We’ll depart from Moshi early in the morning and drive straight to the Tarangire National Park. The park has a year-round water supply, and that’s why it’s so rich in wildlife. Tarangire is a small park, but it attracts the biggest animals.
- Look up closely at tree level to spot one of the famous climbing leopards of Tarangire. But don’t forget those elephants! You’ll spot herds of elephants of all ages; bachelor or herds of females – babies, teenagers, young mums and older mums all led by a matriarch. You might spot a majestic bull elephant, too, who travels alone.
