Description

Begin the trek at Machame Gate, pass through scenic nature and spend the nights in camps under the stars. Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi- Kilimanjaro National Park- Machame Gate
Drive from the hotel in Moshi to Kilimanjaro National Park's Machame gate.
Upon arrival, prepare for registration and payment process while porters organize the luggage.
After all the formalities, begin hiking for 5 hours to the first point, the Machame camp.
Arrive at the camp, rest and enjoy a hot lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Day 2: Machame Camp- Shira Camp
Have breakfast at Machame camp, then ascend to the second camp point, Shira camp.
Arrive at Shira camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Shira Camp- Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Have breakfast at Shira camp, then continue trekking to Barranco camp via the Lava Tower.
Arrive at the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Barranco Camp- Karanga Camp
Have breakfast at Barranco camp, then continue trekking to Karanga camp.
Arrive at Karanga camp for lunch, rest, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5: Karanga Camp- Barafu Camp- Summit
Have breakfast at Karanga camp, then continue ascending to Barafu camp.
Have a packed lunch on the way.
Arrive at Barafu camp, rest, have dinner and stay overnight.
Around 1:00 am, commence the hike towards the Mount Kilimanjaro summit, Uhuru peak.
Hike for 3 to 4 hours through Stella point to arrive at Uhuru peak.
Reach the summit, watch the stunning sunrise and enjoy the view.
Descend to Barafu camp.

Day 6: Summit- Barafu Camp- Mweka Camp
Have breakfast at Barafu camp, then descend to either Millenium camp or Mweka camp.
Arrive at Mweka camp for rest, lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Mweka Camp- Mweka Gate- Moshi
- Have breakfast at Mweka camp, start descending back to Mweka Gate for collecting certificates.
- Transfer to the hotel in Moshi or the airport.
