Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
- Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
- Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will welcome you and drive you to the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha.
Day 2- Full day game drive
- From Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
- Depart from Arusha city to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
- Enjoy the latest sightseeing from our customized 4x4 safari jeep while spotting an abundant herd of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, and leopards among others.
- Take an afternoon break for rest and lunch at a picnic site within the park.
- The game drive will continue up to evening hours, and you will exit the park, and drive to Karatu Lodge for rest and overnight.
Accommodation style: Double, bed and breakfast
Day 3- Transfer to Serengeti National Park
- Depart from Karatu to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro crater and Olduvai Gorge (Museums and historical site).
- Enter Serengeti National Park early afternoon, have a lunch break at Kogatende gate, followed by a game drive at central Serengeti till the evening hour, and drive to Lahia/Embalakai tented lodge for rest, dinner, and overnight.
Accommodation style: Double, bed and breakfast
Day 4- Full day game drive
- Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, Central and Western part of the park.
Day 5- Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
- Half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park.
- Enjoy a half-day thrilling game drive and exit the park late afternoon hours to Lion’s Paw Lodge in Ngorongoro crater for rest, dinner, and overnight.
Accommodation style: Double, bed and breakfast
Day 6- Full day game drive
- Enjoy a full-day game drive in Ngorongoro crater, exit the park late afternoon hour, and drive to Kilimanjaro airport for departure.
- Start with a very early morning game drive at the rim of the crater, before down-sloping to the crater floor.
- Enjoy seeing various species of big and small animals including lions, buffalos, elephants, hippo pools, black rhinos, wildebeest, impalas, monkeys, gazelles, and different species of birds.

When is favorable time to visit Tanzania?

Tanzania is a one stop center for tourism in East Africa, being endowed with many National Parks of which some are the leading best destinations in the World such as Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti National park, Mount Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar Island.

When you have decided to visit this beautiful country, you will have multiple options on where exactly to spend your holiday while you are in the country.

You may choose to challenge yourself for taking Kilimanjaro climb adventure for five to seven days, or to go safari for wildlife game driving/guided walking tour or photography safari with multiple day’s options. If you are the beach fan here you come, we have Zanzibar Archipelago where you will experience endless white sand beach with options to several activities such as diving, snorkeling, beach fire, boat cruising and fishing.

Therefore, while planning to visit here bear in mind that you can do climbing, safari, beach or both. The decision to take one or all depends on client’s preference, duration to stay in Tanzania and state of budget.

The core question here is, when exactly should you visit these beautiful destinations?

The answer is not straight forward. Not every season is a good time for climbing or safari. Wet conditions don’t always favor climbing and if you want to have a successful Mount Climbing experience, you must do it in a dry season.

During rainy season, parks are greener and off course they look great but you won’t be able to spot many animals due to long grass. While on game driving you may experience several break-down and stuck of safari trucks/jeeps due to slippery of the road and muds.

We have got the best experience in knowing and anticipating the weather to make sure that you have the best journey-we shall indicate the best time of the year when every condition is favorable. When you look for the best date to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, a lot of people say that January to February and August to September are the best periods for climbing, however life has changed-the weather has completely changed.
