Day Trip to Uluguru Mountain using SGR Train
- Arrive at Dar es Salaam SGR Train Station and board the train to Morogoro, enjoying a scenic 2.5 to 3-hour ride.
Disembark at Morogoro Station and meet your local guide or transport to the Uluguru Mountains.
Stop for a quick breakfast or coffee at a local café before heading to the trailhead.
Drive to the Uluguru Mountain trailhead, approximately 30-40 minutes from the station.
Begin the hike to Kinole Waterfalls, passing through lush forests, streams, and panoramic views.
Reach the waterfalls, relax, take photos, and swim (safely) in the cool water.
Enjoy a packed lunch or snacks near the waterfalls, surrounded by nature.
Take a nature walk around the forest, learning about local plants and birdwatching.
Return to Morogoro Station by car.
Board the train back to Dar es Salaam and enjoy the scenic ride.
Arrive at Dar es Salaam SGR Train Station and transfer to your hotel.
