Itinerary

1. Transfer to Selous National Reserve for a Game Drive

   • 9:30 AM: Pick-up from your Hotel in Zanzibar

   Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar. Be ready for an exciting adventure ahead.

   • 11:00 AM: Arrival at Selous Game Reserve

   You will land in Selous after a scenic 1:30-hour flight from Zanzibar, arriving around 11:00 AM.

   • 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM: Game Drive

   Embark on a thrilling full-day game drive. The park is home to diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, and giraffes. A boxed lunch will be provided during the drive, so you can enjoy your meal amidst the African wilderness.

   • 6:00 PM: Check-in to Lodge or Hotel

   After a day of adventure, check into your comfortable lodge or hotel, where you'll be able to relax.

   • 7:00 PM: Dinner at Lodge/Hotel

   Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge or hotel, recapping your thrilling day.

   Overnight Stay at Lodge or Hotel.

2. Day 2: Boat Safari, Walking Safari, and Return to Zanzibar

   • 7:00 AM: Breakfast at Lodge/Hotel

   Start your day with a hearty breakfast, readying yourself for more adventure.

   • 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Boat Safari

   Head out for a relaxing and exciting boat safari. You'll get to view wildlife from a different perspective as you glide along the waterways, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife.

   • 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Walking Safari

   Next, enjoy a guided 2-hour walking safari. This is a chance to get up close to the environment and learn more about the ecosystem and its inhabitants, led by an expert guide.

   • 12:30 PM: Lunch at Lodge

   After your walking safari, indulge in a delicious lunch at the lodge.

   • 2:15 PM: Depart for Zanzibar

   After lunch, it's time to head back to Zanzibar. Your flight departs at 2:15 PM and you’ll be back by 4:15 PM.

   • 4:15 PM: Arrival in Zanzibar

   Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting at the airport to transfer you back to your hotel.
