Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Kilwa Kisiwani
- Arrive in Kilwa Masoko via bus, car, or flight (from Dar es Salaam).
- Take a boat ride from Kilwa Masoko to Kilwa Kisiwani (30–45 minutes) if arriving by boat.
- Plan transport to Kilwa Masoko and then proceed with a boat trip to Kilwa Kisiwani if traveling by road.
- Check-in at a lodge or guesthouse on Kilwa Kisiwani such as Kilwa Seaview Lodge or Kilwa Ruins Lodge.
Enjoy a welcome drink and receive a briefing on the day’s itinerary.
