Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Day Hike

   • Hiker(s) will leave Moshi early to depart for Marangu Gate. The drive will take approximately 1 hour. What should you expect today? After completing gate registration, you will begin your Kilimanjaro Day Hike.
   • Walking along a narrow trail through the rainforest of Kilimanjaro up to Mandara Hut, you will meet mountain climbers descending from the top of Kilimanjaro. At Mandara Hut, you will have your lunch and the possibility to take a short walk to the Maundi Crater. The views to the East over Taveta and the Northwest to Mawenzi Peak are stunning on a clear day, making the short hike well worth the effort.
   • You will then be able to take photos once arriving at Maundi Crater before descending to the Marangu Gate. Our vehicles will wait at Marangu Gate to take you back to Moshi.

   Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

   Rising(ft): (1,800m/5,905ft) to (2,743m/9,000ft)

   Hiking time: 8-10 hours

   Elevation Gain: 915 meters, 3,000 feet

2. Day 2: Moshi to Tarangire National Park

   • We will leave Moshi in the early hours and drive to Tarangire National Park, where huge termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await us. This park is renowned for its immense elephant population, picturesque scenery, and diverse birdlife.
   • Tarangire has enticing wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and baboons. When our game drive comes to an end, we will go on to Our trip will come to an end in the late afternoon. We will return to Arusha.
