Enjoy game viewing in the Tarangire National Park, famous for African Elephants and head to the Ngorongoro Crater. Also, visit the Serengeti National Park and get the chance to see the Big Five.

Highlights
  • Multiple game drives at Tarangire, Serengeti & Lake Manyara parks
  • Full day crater tour at Ngorongoro Crater
  • Spot the Big 5 in Serengeti
  • Look out for hundreds of different bird species
  • Day 1 - Tarangire National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, depart to Tarangire National Park. It has a diverse landscape with nine distinct vegetation zones. The ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in Africa) overshadow the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife, from elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes to various colourful birds. The park is famous for having the greatest elephant population in Tanzania.
    • During a safari, you will have the chance to quietly observe many families of elephants interacting, with a stop for an amazing picnic lunch at an observatory inside the park where you will be able to spot animals drinking water in the river (and many times lions attacking a thirsty zebra or wildebeest).

We will get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2 - Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • After an early breakfast, drive towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti, via a picturesque route. You will drive up the crater highlands, with a quick stop at the rim for an amazing view of Ngorongoro Crater.
    • As you progress forward into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means"endless plains" in the local language. The park has 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your sense and perception of distances. It is the home to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes, like the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. We can also spot lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas here.
  • Day 3 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro expand_more
    • Wake up early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, spot the animals when they are more active and have a fantastic sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have.
    • After that, get back to the camp for brunch, followed by a transfer to Ngorongoro, considered the 8th natural wonder of the world. With walls that are 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, it inhabits almost every wildlife species indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhinos. In fact, the crater has the densest population of wildlife on the planet. It also contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake full of flamingoes, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants residing here have enormous tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.

    Dinner and overnight.

  • Day 4 - Ngorongor Crater - Arusha expand_more
    • After breakfast, descend 600 m into this magnificent crater for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the densest African wildlife areas globally and is home to about 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Assisted by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.
    • Another plus point to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopards, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy an amazing picnic lunch in the crater.
    • Later slowly head out of the crater and drive toward Arusha town.
