Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the journey with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha.

   • Drive approximately two hours to reach Tarangire National Park.

   • Embark on a morning game drive to explore the park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while taking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

   • Continue with an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species.

   • Exit the park as the sun sets and transfer to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

   • Start the day with an early breakfast before departing for Serengeti National Park.

   • Travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area during a 4 to 5-hour drive.

   • Stop at Olduvai Gorge if desired, to explore the world-famous archaeological site and its rich history (optional activity with an additional fee).

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch en route while admiring the vast Serengeti plains.

   • Embark on your first Serengeti game drive in the Seronera region, known for its abundance of big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

   • Arrive at your campsite in the central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

3. Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Begin the day with a sunrise game drive, an ideal time to observe predators such as lions and leopards at their most active.

   • Return to camp for a hearty late breakfast.

   • Pack up and continue with a final game drive through the Serengeti while heading toward the park exit.

   • Stop for a picnic lunch along the route as you soak in the stunning scenery.

   • Drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, spotting wildlife along the way.

   • Optionally, visit a Maasai Boma for an authentic cultural experience and to learn about the traditional Maasai lifestyle.

   • Arrive at the campsite on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Enjoy an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

   • Explore the crater floor, home to an incredible variety of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and flocks of flamingos along the crater lake.

   • Savor a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool area while enjoying panoramic views.

   • Ascend from the crater in the afternoon and begin the return drive to Arusha, a journey of approximately three to four hours.

   • Conclude your safari with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable four-day adventure through Tanzania’s most iconic wilderness areas.
