Discover the wildlife at Lake Manyara National Park, a patchwork of diverse landscapes, including the shrubby expanse of the golden savannah on Tanzania's Big 5 safari, the narrow shores teeming with wildlife, and the still waters of Lake Manyara itself. The park is nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Look out for the elephants and the baboon groups that swoop and cry to one another while never seeming to stop for air.

See the fabled tree-climbing lions, the strong water buffalo, the magnificent African elephant, the giraffe, the impala, and the hippo. In the middle of the park, take a picnic.

On your way to Arusha, pass through Maasai bomas, baobab forests, and undulating savannah grasslands.
