Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport expand_more
Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). We will arrange a private transfer from the Airport to Arusha at Moivaro Coffee Lodge, where the rest of the day is at leisure. We stay at Moivaro Coffee Lodge, which is beautifully located on the coffee farms and is a perfect place to prepare for your adventure.
Gather in the hotel for a pre-safari briefing and an equipment check. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance.
Dinner and overnight at Moivaro Coffee Lodge: Half board.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park expand_more
After morning breakfast at Moivaro Lodge, proceed for an enroute game drive at the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After a picnic lunch, proceed with your game drive in the central Serengeti National Park around Seronera or trace the direction of the migration.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp: Full board.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park expand_more
Depending on the time of the year and the migration of the herds, you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, as well as a multitude of birds.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park expand_more
After breakfast, we will take a packed lunch and proceed with the game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The migration can be seen on a long chain approximately 40 km, heading in the southwestern direction.
At around 12:30 and 13:00, break for your lunch.
After having lunch, we will proceed with our game viewing following the move of the migrants on the southwest of the park. Approximately 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles and 200,000 zebras have been recorded sharing the short grass here.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater expand_more
Do an early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains, followed by a picnic lunch on the way to Ngorongoro Crater.
Stop at Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater expand_more
Descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for your crater tour.
Here, we will explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants and also the lake area, wherein we may see many flamingos.
We will also visit the open savannahs where the lions hunt. Picnic lunch will be served in the crater.

Be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your return flight back home.

Know before you go
Our safari vehicles come with hatched roofs for shade against sunny African wilderness. There is plenty of roomy seats for comfortable sitting and stretching out legs.
Every guest will also have access to a window seat. Cars are fitted with fridges, power charge sockets, and VHF radio calls for easy and fast communication with the base office.
