6-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro

• Pick up from your hotel in Arusha, enjoy a quick safari briefing, and then depart for Tarangire National Park. Your first safari experience will be a thrilling game drive through the vast landscapes of Tarangire National Park.

• Arrive in good time for lunch, followed by afternoon game drives in the park.

• Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park with your Tanzanian safari guide. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two-thirds of the park. Backed by the wall of the Great Rift Valley, the park features groundwater forest, open grasslands near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake.

• Arrive at the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world - Serengeti National Park. The word 'Serengeti' means 'endless plains', which describes the park's 5,600-square-mile boundary. Yet, for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that takes them from central Serengeti to Kenya's Maasai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the 'down-time', vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals stalk their prey, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena.

• Proceed for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park with packed lunches until late evening. Get a chance to view the Great Annual Migration and also other animals such as gazelles, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals.

Drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

• After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch until noon.

• Continue with a game drive to take in the beauty of this great park.

• In the afternoon, after lunch, proceed on a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay at the Simba Campsite.

• After an early breakfast, descend into the crater for a 6-7-hour game drive with a picnic lunch. You will head down to the crater floor for an up-close view of the resident wildlife at this World Heritage Site.

• Enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing year-round. The wildlife here forms a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons.

• In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
