Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and Transfer to Arusha

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where your professional driver guide welcomes you with a signboard bearing your name.
   • Complete the necessary formalities before travelling approximately two hours to Arusha town.
   • Check in at your designated hotel and receive a detailed briefing about your upcoming safari programme.
   • Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park and Mto wa Mbu

   • Wake early for breakfast before departing for Tarangire National Park in a customised 4x4 safari jeep with pop up roof and individual window seating.
   • Observe Maasai warriors herding cattle along the roadside during the two hour journey.
   • Enter Tarangire National Park after registration at the gate and begin your game drive among large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees.
   • Spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hyenas, topi, Thomson gazelles and diverse birdlife.
   • Exit the park in the late afternoon and continue to Mto wa Mbu town for overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Ngorongoro Rim to Serengeti National Park

   • Travel towards Serengeti National Park passing through the dense forest of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
   • Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim viewpoint to admire the world’s largest intact caldera and receive a briefing from your guide.
   • Continue via Naabi Gate with a lunch box stop before entering central Serengeti.
   • Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains spotting wildlife directly from your vehicle.
   • Transfer to your luxury campsite or hotel for overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

   • Embark on a full day game drive across Serengeti’s breathtaking landscapes.
   • Track prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras and wild dogs with your knowledgeable driver guide.
   • Witness the high concentration of predators and, during migration season, observe the Great Migration.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before returning to your accommodation for the evening.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

   • Depart early for Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive inside the caldera.
   • Observe exceptional wildlife density including rhinos, lions, elephants and thousands of birds around the soda lake.
   • Admire the spectacular crater views from the rim and explore diverse ecosystems of grassland, forest and lake.
   • Enjoy lunch at the Ngorongoro picnic site before ascending from the crater in the afternoon.
