Itinerary

1. Day 1: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam to Saadani National Park

   • Begin with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar.

   • Transfer to the ferry terminal in Stone Town.

   • Board the morning ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam (approximately 2 hours).

   • Meet your driver-guide upon arrival at the Dar es Salaam ferry terminal.

   • Depart on a scenic road transfer to Saadani National Park (approximately 4 to 5 hours).

   • Enjoy lunch en route to Saadani.

   • Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the late afternoon.

   • Check-in and spend the remainder of the day relaxing by the beach or taking a short guided walk.

   • Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner at your lodge.

   Overnight: Lodge or tented camp inside or near Saadani National Park.

   Meals: Lunch, Dinner

2. Day 2: Saadani National Park to Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar

   • Start with an early morning game drive through Saadani National Park (optimal time for predator sightings).

   • Return to camp for a hearty breakfast.

   • Enjoy an optional boat safari on the Wami River or take time to relax at the beach.

   • Have an early lunch at the lodge and complete check-out formalities.

   • Begin the return road journey to Dar es Salaam.

   • Board the afternoon ferry back to Zanzibar.

   • Transfer to your hotel in Zanzibar upon arrival.
