My name is Emma Moye, widely known as “The Woman of Kilimanjaro.” I am the Founder and Managing Director of H.E.C.Kilimanjaro and Safaris Limited, a women-led tour company based in Marangu, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.I have worked in tourism for more than two decades, organizing private Kilimanjaro climbs, wildlife safaris, Zanzibar holidays and authentic cultural experiences across Tanzania.

I am also a trained primary school teacher, a Rotarian and a passionate community [sensitive content] work supports education, children with special needs, widows, women and young people in the Kilimanjaro region.Having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro four times, I combine personal mountain experience with local knowledge and warm Tanzanian hospitality.My vision is to connect visitors with the beauty of Tanzania while ensuring that tourism creates meaningful and lasting benefits for local communities.
