Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Selous Game Reserve
- Pick up from Dar es Salaam hotel or airport.
- Scenic drive (5–6 hrs) or 1-hour flight to Selous Game Reserve.
- Check into lodge/camp and enjoy lunch.
- Afternoon game drive spotting elephants, lions, hippos, and buffalo.
Dinner and overnight stay in the reserve.
Day 2: Full Day in Selous Game Reserve
- Early morning game drive or optional walking safari with ranger.
- Explore wildlife tracks, plants, and smaller animals.
- Boat safari on Rufiji River to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds.
- Afternoon/evening game drive or optional night safari.
Dinner under the stars and overnight in Selous.
Day 3: Transfer to Mikumi National Park
- Breakfast at camp, then drive (3–4 hrs) to Mikumi National Park.
- Check in at lodge and enjoy lunch.
- Afternoon game drive across Mikumi savannah.
- Spot lions, giraffes, elephants, and zebras on the open plains.
Dinner and overnight stay in Mikumi.
Day 4: Game Drives in Mikumi & Maasai Visit
- Morning game drive in Mkata Floodplain, ideal for birdwatching.
- Optional Maasai village visit for cultural traditions, music, and crafts.
- Relax at lodge or enjoy another afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight in Mikumi.
Day 5: Return to Dar es Salaam

- Drive (approx. 4 hrs) back to Dar es Salaam.
- Drop off at hotel or airport for onward travel.
