Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.

   • Depart from Arusha town and drive through small villages toward Tarangire National Park.

   • Arrive at the park gate after approximately two and a half hours of travel.

   • Stop at the entrance gate while your safari driver completes the parking fees payment.

   • Start your game drive immediately after the entrance procedures are completed.

   • Explore the rich ecosystem of Tarangire, known for its large elephant population, impalas, gnous, giraffes, and the occasional sightings of lions and leopards.

   • Proceed to Tarangire Safari Lodge for a hot lunch around midday.

   • Continue with an afternoon game drive en route to the park gate for exit.

   • Drive to Karatu for your dinner and overnight stay.

   • Check in at Farmhouse Lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and relax for the evening.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

   • Wake up early and have breakfast at the lodge.

   • Collect your packed lunch and prepare for the day’s safari.

   • Depart from the lodge and drive less than ten minutes to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate.

   • Complete the gate formalities and continue driving for about one hour to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Explore the floor of the crater, a unique ecosystem home to a high concentration of wildlife.

   • Spot animals such as prides of lions, hyenas, jackals, hippos, gazelles, monkeys, and the rare Black Rhino.

   • Enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the designated areas within the crater.

   • Ascend from the crater after lunch and begin the drive back to Arusha.

   • Arrive in Arusha by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your safari adventure.
