Day 1: Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
- Begin with a morning drive from Moshi town to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, and complete park registration formalities.
- Meet your professional mountain guides, chefs, and porters before starting your climb.
- Trek through lush rainforest filled with towering eucalyptus trees, colourful birds, and black and white colobus monkeys.
- Visit Maundi Crater, a volcanic formation offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere.
- Hike for approximately three to four hours covering 8 kilometres from 1,860 metres to 2,700 metres.
- Arrive at Mandara Hut where warm meals are prepared and settle in for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
- Leave the rainforest after breakfast and continue into the open moorland zone with wider mountain views.
- Walk through rolling hills covered with giant lobelias and groundsels unique to Kilimanjaro.
- Enjoy clear views of Mawenzi Peak and the snow capped summit of Kibo along the trail.
- Trek for approximately five to six hours covering 12 kilometres from 2,700 metres to 3,700 metres.
- Arrive at Horombo Hut in the early afternoon, relax, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and continue acclimatisation.

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
- Depart after breakfast and cross the Saddle of Kilimanjaro, an alpine desert between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
- Experience dry dramatic landscapes with minimal vegetation and occasional rocky terrain and small water streams.
- Trek steadily for five to seven hours covering 9.5 kilometres from 3,700 metres to 4,700 metres.
- Arrive at Kibo Hut located at the base of the summit cone.
- Enjoy an early dinner and rest in preparation for the midnight summit attempt.

Day 4: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
- Begin the summit ascent around midnight under a star filled sky toward Gilman’s Point on the crater rim.
- Climb steep and challenging scree slopes and continue along the crater edge to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres.
- Witness sunrise from the Roof of Africa and take photographs at the Uhuru Peak signpost.
- Descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and lunch.
- Continue descending to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight stay.
- Ascend for six to eight hours covering 6 kilometres and descend approximately 15 kilometres from 4,700 metres to 5,895 metres and back to 3,700 metres.

Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi
- Enjoy breakfast at Horombo Hut before beginning the final descent through moorland and rainforest landscapes.
- Pass Mandara Hut and continue trekking down scenic forest trails.
- Hike for approximately four to five hours covering 20 kilometres from 3,700 metres to 1,700 metres.
- Arrive at Marangu Gate, complete park formalities, and receive your Kilimanjaro summit certificate.
- Transfer back to Moshi town, marking the end of your Mount Kilimanjaro adventure.
