Arusha / Moshi to Materuni Waterfalls
- You will depart after breakfast and begin your journey to Materuni village, located on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.
- This remarkable village is free from common tourist traps and provides a great opportunity to learn and understand Tanzanian culture.
- Your first stop will be a walk through a coffee plantation where you will learn about the process of growing coffee, while having the chance to roast, pound and grind your own coffee.
- Afterwards, you will head to the Materuni Waterfalls.
- During your walk, you will be able to see local fruits and vegetation plantations, learn about the local culture, and participate in some of the local activities.
- Conclude your day trip with a cool and refreshing dip in the waterfall pool and an appetizing lunch before heading back to your lodge in Arusha.
