Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi
Depart Dar es Salaam early morning to Mikumi.
Have lunch at the camp.
Go for an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight Angalia Tented Camp.

Day 2: Explore Mikumi
Enjoy a full day Mikumi game drive.

Day 3: Mikumi to Udzungwa
Have breakfast, and go on a short game drive in the park.
Leave for Udzungwa National Park.
Overnight stay at Udzungwa Forest Camp in a thatched banda next to the forest.

Day 4: Explore Udzungwa
Hike into the superb primary forest to the base and then the top of the spectacular Sanje Waterfall looking for primates on the way.
Swim in plunge pools, see endemic African Violets growing in the spray zones, and have lunch in the forest on the top of the falls.
Descend after enjoying superb views.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Udzungwa to Dar es Salaam
Have breakfast and walk along the forest edge at Hondo Hondo.
Transfer to Dar Es Salaam with lunch on the way.
Drop at the ferry to Zanzibar.
