Day 1: Zanzibar/Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve
Depart in Zanzibar at 0800 hours or Dar es Salaam at 0830 hours which by flight will take just 45 minutes to an airstrip in Selous Game Reserve (Mtemere, Siwandu, Matambwe).
Get picked up at any of the mentioned airstrips depending on your accommodation, and proceed with the game drive en route to your camp or lodge.
Arrive at lunchtime and relax until late in the afternoon.
Do a short game drive.
Unwind with dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge (Rufiji River Camp, Lake Manze Tented Camp, Sable Mountain Lodge, Selous Mbega Camp).
Transfer: Hotel/Airport

Day 2: Selous
Embark on a morning game drives into the Selous Game Reserve after breakfast. Large numbers of elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles live in this immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands.
Enjoy a picnic lunch, dinner and overnight at camp or lodge (Rufiji River Camp, Lake Manze Tented Camp, Sable Mountain Lodge, Selous Mbega Camp).

Day 3: Selous to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar
Go on a boat drive along the Rufiji River or walking safari with an armed ranger after breakfast.
Enjoy an early lunch and then transfer to the airstrip (Mtemere, Siwandu, Matambwe) for your flight at 1315 hours to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar.
