Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
- Depending on your arrival time, enjoy optional activities and a tour around Arusha City at an additional cost.
- Relax and prepare for your Mount Kilimanjaro climbing adventure beginning the following morning.

Day 2: Marangu Gate (1,800m) to Mandara Hut (2,743m)
- Elevation Gain: 943 metres.
- Walking Time: 3–4 hours.
- Distance: 7 km.
- Begin your trek from Marangu Gate through Kilimanjaro’s lush rainforest filled with streams, wildlife, and rich vegetation.
- Stop at Kisambioni for a picnic lunch while enjoying the scenic surroundings.
- Continue trekking to Mandara Hut through beautiful rainforest landscapes.
- Optionally visit Maundi Crater for impressive views of Taveta and Mawenzi Peak.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mandara Hut.

Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,743m) to Horombo Hut (3,720m)
- Elevation Gain: 977 metres (3,200 feet).
- Walking Time: 5–6 hours.
- Distance: 11 km.
- After breakfast, begin your trek towards Horombo Hut through Kilimanjaro’s scenic moorland zone, a dramatic contrast to the rainforest landscape.
- Pass desert-like vegetation scattered across rocky terrain while enjoying distant views of Uhuru Peak and Mawenzi Peak.
- Stop at Kambi ya Taanu for a picnic lunch surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
- Continue trekking under clear blue skies with panoramic views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.
- Arrive at Horombo Hut in the afternoon and relax for the remainder of the day.
- Horombo Hut is considered one of the more comfortable hut accommodations on Kilimanjaro, with spacious facilities for climbers, guides, cooks, and porters.

Day 4: Horombo Hut (3,720m) to Mawenzi Hut (4,600m) and Return to Horombo Hut
Elevation Gain and Loss: 880 metres (2,900 feet).
Walking Time: 4–5 hours.
Distance: 8 km.
Spend the day acclimatising to improve your chances of successfully reaching Uhuru Peak.
Hike towards Mawenzi Hut for maximum acclimatisation while enjoying spectacular views of Kibo Peak from a unique angle.
Trek through scenic high-altitude landscapes surrounded by Kilimanjaro’s rugged beauty.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch before relaxing at the huts for the remainder of the day.
Return to Horombo Hut for overnight rest and preparation for the next stage of the climb.

Day 5: Horombo Hut (3,720m) to Kibo Hut (4,750m)
Elevation Gain: 1,030 metres (3,380 feet).
Walking Time: 6–8 hours.
Distance: 10 km.
After an energy-rich breakfast, continue the final trekking stage of the 6-day Marangu Route towards Kibo Hut.
Hike through Kilimanjaro’s alpine desert landscapes with gradually flattening terrain and sparse vegetation.
Pass the Maua River and continue towards the Middle Red Hill where you will stop for lunch.
Trek steadily across Kilimanjaro’s Saddle while enjoying impressive views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks.
Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon and prepare for the midnight summit ascent.
Rest early to conserve energy for the challenging climb to Uhuru Peak.

Day 6: Kibo Hut (4,750m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and Descend to Horombo Hut (3,720m)
Elevation Gain: 1,145 metres (3,760 feet).
Elevation Loss: 2,175 metres (7,140 feet).
Walking Time: 11–13 hours.
Distance: 18 km.
Begin your midnight summit ascent towards Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
Trek through challenging high-altitude terrain towards Gillman’s Point on the crater rim while enjoying the dramatic night-time mountain atmosphere.
Pass William’s Point before continuing across rocky trails leading to Gillman’s Point at 5,681 metres.
Continue the final ascent for approximately two more hours to reach Uhuru Peak and witness spectacular sunrise views above the clouds.
Take memorable photographs at the summit before beginning the descent back towards Kibo Hut.
Rest briefly at Kibo Hut before continuing down to Horombo Hut in the afternoon.
Relax and enjoy your final night on Mount Kilimanjaro at Horombo Hut.

Day 7: Horombo Hut (3,720m) to Marangu Gate (1,800m) and Return to Arusha
Elevation Loss: 1,920 metres (6,295 feet).
Walking Time: 5–6 hours.
Distance: 19 km.
After breakfast, begin your final descent from Mount Kilimanjaro through the beautiful cloud forest towards Marangu Gate.
Enjoy scenic rainforest views filled with sunlight filtering through the trees and misty mountain surroundings.
Walk carefully as some sections of the trail may become slippery during the descent.
Complete your memorable Kilimanjaro trekking adventure at Marangu Gate.
Transfer back to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved rest and preparation for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 8: Arusha to Serengeti Ndutu
- Depart from your accommodation in Arusha and travel towards Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti for an exciting wildlife safari experience.
- Enjoy scenic game drives focused on witnessing the famous Great Migration across the Serengeti plains.
- Stop for lunch at a comfortable location inside the park surrounded by stunning natural scenery.
- Continue your afternoon game drive while searching for wildebeests, zebras, and other wildlife species.
- Experience the calving season when thousands of wildebeests gather to give birth between mid-December and early April.
- Arrive at the camp in the afternoon and relax after an adventurous safari day.

Day 9: Serengeti Ndutu to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Wake up early and enjoy morning game drives in Serengeti Ndutu during the Great Migration season.

- Experience one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife events, best viewed between mid-December and early April.
- In the afternoon, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your overnight stay.
- Stay at accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, allowing early access to the crater the following morning.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
- After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting wildlife game drive.

- After completing the game drives, transfer back to Arusha where the safari adventure concludes.
