Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
- Pick up from Dar es Salaam city and drive to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), a journey of approximately four hours.
Arrive at the lodge for lunch and short relaxation.
In the late afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River.
Observe hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife, with over 350 species recorded in the reserve. The Rufiji River swamplands support rich avian diversity typical of Miombo woodlands.

Day 2: Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
- Spend a full day exploring Selous Game Reserve by 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Encounter elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffalos, bushbucks, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and giraffes.
Learn about the history of the reserve, named after explorer Frederick Courtney Selous.
Enjoy an overnight stay with dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Walking Safari and Game Drive
- Begin with an early morning walking safari guided by an armed ranger for approximately two hours.

Return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
