Description
Experience the quieter side of Mount Kilimanjaro by trekking the Rongai Route, the only trail approaching from the north. This less-travelled path offers drier conditions, stunning landscapes, and opportunities to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and antelope. The journey passes through forests, moorland, and alpine desert before tackling the summit via Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak. Descent is made along the Marangu Route, combining a unique wilderness experience with rewarding views from Africa’s highest point.
