Itinerary
-
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
- Meet your tour guide upon arrival. After breakfast in Arusha, we will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning.
- Arrive in Tarangire, and we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. You should know that this park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons.
- Continue our journey to our next highlight the Ngorongoro Crater and Close to Lake Manyara. Dinner and Overnight Camp or Lodge.
-
Day 2: Mto Wa Mbu - Serengeti National Park
- Collect our lunch boxes, and start our journey which takes us west and north, our exciting destination being a name familiar to everyone the Serengeti! On the way, the sheer scale of the territory and the raw beauty and awesomeness of the landscapes reveal themselves and your driver-guide will help you to spot animals and birds.
- Enjoy the wildlife sightsee. This is just a preview of things to come, for the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the world's greatest gathering of wildlife. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will be eager to pursue some more great wildlife-spotting opportunities in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set in the grasslands, savannahs, woods, and mountain scenery, which creature will show itself next? These endless plains are home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetah, hippo, and crocodiles, the adventure has truly begun.
- Drive back to your chosen accommodation for dinner and talk about the many fantastic experiences you had today. Overnight at Camp or Lodge.
-
Day 3: Western Serengeti National Park
- Take a short drive to reach the great Serengeti's Western Corridor, the park's narrow section through which the Great Migration must pass at this time of the year. This is our focus, as the herds of thousands of zebra and wildebeest gather enough strength to cross the Grumeti River. For them, danger lurks in the form of the Nile crocodiles; for you, safe in your vehicle, this is a chance to see Nature at its very rawest in this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Overnight stay at Camp or Lodge.
-
Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park
- Enjoy another game drive in this incredible location. This allows us further time to wonder at the migratory herds and the dangers and challenges they face each year in their battle for survival. As well as the herd animals, you can perhaps see a hippopotamus or a majestic martial eagle up in the skies. As well as the migrating animals, this area also has a good population of resident wildlife, so that you won’t be disappointed.
