Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival & Tarangire National Park

   • Your adventure begins with your arrival in Arusha, where you’ll meet your guide and embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. 
   • Known for its towering baobab trees and dense elephant population, Tarangire offers your first glimpse of Tanzania’s vibrant wildlife. 
   • As you traverse the park’s open savannahs and winding riverbanks, watch for lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. 
   • Break for a picnic lunch amidst the park's stunning scenery before continuing your exploration. As the sun sets, head to your lodge or campsite for a relaxing evening surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Today takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. 
   • Descend into the crater’s lush floor, a haven for diverse wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos. The crater also features hippo-filled lakes, open grasslands, and acacia woodlands, creating a dynamic ecosystem teeming with life. 
   • After a full day of game drives and a picnic lunch overlooking this natural amphitheatre, return to your lodge on the crater rim or nearby for a cosy night under the stars.

3. Day 3: Arusha National Park

   • Your safari continues with a visit to Arusha National Park, a gem known for its diverse landscapes, including Mount Meru, lush forests, and the picturesque Momella Lakes. 
   • Unlike other parks, Arusha offers opportunities for walking safaris and canoeing, allowing you to explore the park from unique perspectives. 
   • Spot black-and-white colobus monkeys swinging through the trees, giraffes gracefully roaming the plains, and flamingos painting the lake shores pink. 
   • Enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch amid the park’s serene beauty before returning to Arusha for an evening of relaxation.

4. Day 4: Departure

   • As your Tanzanian safari comes to an end, savour a hearty breakfast before bidding farewell to the wild. 
   • Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief cultural visit or shopping for souvenirs in Arusha. 
   • Your guide will ensure you reach the airport on time for your departure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania's remarkable landscapes and wildlife. Safe travels!
