Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire National Park

   • Be picked up from Arusha or Moshi (airport or lodge) by your professional safari driver-guide.

   • Drive to Tarangire National Park with a game drive en route.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.

   • Explore Tarangire, known for

     • The seasonal Tarangire River

     • Massive elephant herds

     • Iconic baobab trees

     • Tree-climbing pythons

     • Rich wildlife including lions and leopards

   • Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

   • Spend the evening surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the African bush.

   Main Destination: Tarangire National Park.
   Accommodation: Mid-range lodge inside or near the park.

2. Day 2: Karatu – Drive to Serengeti National Park

   • Depart after breakfast from your lodge in Karatu.

   • Travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park.

   • Stop for a picnic lunch within the park.

   • Continue game viewing in the Serengeti’s expansive plains.

   • Witness resident wildlife and, depending on the season, parts of the Great Migration.

   • Look out for predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

   • Arrive at your camp or lodge by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

   Main Destination: Serengeti National Park.
   Accommodation: Mid-range lodge in central or eastern Serengeti.

3. Day 3: Serengeti – Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Begin the day with an early morning game drive at sunrise.

   • Observe wildlife during their most active hours.

   • Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush.

   • Depart Serengeti in the afternoon and travel toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

   • Pass through diverse landscapes, with scenic views en route.

   • Arrive at your lodge on or near the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.

   • Prepare for the following day's descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

   Main Destination: Serengeti National Park (morning), Ngorongoro Conservation Area (evening).

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport

   • Have breakfast at your lodge.

   • Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

   • Observe the Big Five and over 30,000 animals that inhabit the crater floor.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater.

   • Ascend and depart for Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

   • Conclude your safari with a transfer to your hotel or departure terminal.
