Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your hotel or Arusha Airport.
- Drive through scenic landscapes to Tarangire National Park while carrying packed lunch boxes.
- Embark on a wildlife game drive through diverse habitats, including savannas and seasonal marshes, with the Tarangire River as a focal point.
- Spot large herds of elephants, lions on the prowl, and leopards resting in acacia trees.
- Continue game viewing until late afternoon.
- Proceed to Crater Rim View Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
- Eat breakfast at the lodge before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

- Explore the world's largest intact caldera, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World."
- View an exceptional concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs.
- Observe flamingos, eagles, and other bird species around the crater lakes.
- Ascend the crater wall in the late afternoon and head to your lodge.
- Enjoy dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp.

- Watch for large troops of baboons, hippos, elephants, and flamingos along the lakeshore.
- Conclude your safari with a drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Know Before You Go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.

The operator can assist you in selecting your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.

Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha, or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).

A transfer to and from the airport is included.

Additional accommodation before and after the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
