Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Dar es Salaam
- Arrival at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Transfer to your accommodation for check-in and relaxation.
- Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city and its nearby attractions, such as the National Museum, Kivukoni Fish Market, or the lively Kariakoo Market.
Overnight stay in Dar es Salaam: Peacock Hotel
Day 2: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- Early morning breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, approximately a 4-5 hour drive.
- Arrive at Mikumi National Park and check-in at your lodge.
- Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park, offering opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various bird species.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day at Mikumi
- Early morning breakfast at the lodge. Full day of game viewing and exploration in Mikumi National Park.
- Enjoy multiple game drives, visiting different areas of the park to maximize wildlife sightings and experiences.
- Stop for a picnic lunch within the park, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Continue exploring the park in the afternoon, seeking out its diverse flora and fauna.
- Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Udzungwa National Park and Return to Dar es Salaam
- Breakfast at the lodge. Check-out and departure from Mikumi National Park.
- Transfer to Udzungwa National Park, approximately a 2-3 hour drive.
- Upon arrival at Udzungwa National Park, embark on a guided hike to explore the park's stunning sanje waterfalls, lush rainforest, and unique biodiversity.
- Lunch in the park or nearby. After the hike, begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam.
- Arrive in Dar es Salaam by evening and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
