3-Day Gombe National Park Chimpanzee Tracking Tour from Dar es Salaam

• Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the airport.

• Take a flight to Kigoma at 09:30 AM.

• Arrive in Kigoma at 11:40 AM and meet your Kigoma tour guide.

• Transfer to a restaurant for lunch before heading to Kibirizi Port.

• Take a boat ride to Gombe National Park via Lake Tanganyika, the world's longest and second deepest lake.

• Complete the required park registration, check in at the rest house, and depart for chimpanzee tracking. You will also witness other primates such as colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, dik-dik, and various tropical birds.

Have dinner and stay overnight at Tanapa Rest House.

• Have breakfast at the rest house and depart for chimpanzee tracking once again.

• Climb to Kakombe Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the park.

• Walk to an abandoned chimpanzee feeding station with your tour guide.

• Return to the rest house for lunch.

• Relax at the lodge or go for a swim in Lake Tanganyika.

Have dinner and stay overnight at Gombe Rest House.

• Have breakfast and catch the boat to Kigoma at 09:00 AM.

• Reach Kigoma at 10:30 AM and transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Dar es Salaam.
