Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Arrival in Uganda: On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide or company representative. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll be transferred directly to your hotel or stay the night in Kampala. If arriving the night before, rest at one of the following accommodations:

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi & Gorilla Trekking
Morning Drive to Bwindi: After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at approximately 8:45 AM. Begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Mbarara. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a memorable experience standing in both hemispheres.
Lunch Break: Continue the drive with a lunch stop at Agip Motel, where you’ll enjoy a delicious meal before proceeding to Bwindi.
Arrival at Bwindi: As you approach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you’ll be surrounded by stunning landscapes, lush green hills, and the dense forest that the park is known for. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, check in at your accommodation and relax before dinner. Depending on your chosen lodging, you can enjoy the following options:

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Gorilla Trekking: After breakfast, prepare for the highlight of your trip: gorilla trekking! You’ll meet at the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Be sure to bring along comfortable hiking gear, including sturdy shoes, a rain jacket, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as you trek into the jungle. The trekking can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located, but the effort is always worth it. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll observe them in their natural habitat for one unforgettable hour.
Village Walk & Cultural Experience: After your trek, you may have the chance to participate in a Batwa cultural experience. Visit a local village and engage with the Batwa people, Uganda’s indigenous forest dwellers, to learn about their way of life, culture, and history as former forest inhabitants. It’s an enriching cultural experience that provides insight into the traditions of this fascinating group of people.
Evening at the Lodge: Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation after a day of thrilling wildlife encounters and cultural exploration.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
Morning Breakfast: Enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge, check out and start your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. The drive offers stunning views of the Kasese-Fort Portal Road, with scenic landscapes and the famous Mountains of the Moon in the distance.
Lunch Break: Stop for lunch en route, taking in more of Uganda’s beautiful countryside.
Arrival in Kampala/Entebbe: You will arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your place of residence or Entebbe Airport for your onward flight.
