At 7:30 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel for a tour of Matemwe village. Arrive at 9:45 am and take a 45-minute boat ride to the island. Enjoy lunch, including local food and fruit, before continuing the tour. Depart at 10:00 pm back to the hotel. Experience the beauty of Zanzibar on this unforgettable tour.

Know Before You Go

Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottlenose and humpback dolphins. Following a short boat trip from the village, you may be able to swim close to the dolphins, providing a rewarding experience. This trip is made in the afternoon to avoid crowds of tourists that disturb the dolphins. Kizimkazi also has a 12th-century mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa, making it worth a visit for cultural and natural reasons. Sometimes, we may spend longer searching for dolphins as they move from one place to another.
