    • Check-in at the main gate, then proceed for a 2-hour game drive inside the park.

    • Arrive at the hotel for a hot lunch.

    • After lunch, relax at the hotel until 4 pm.

    • Go for an evening game drive in the park. Mikumi is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodiles, lizards and other birds, animals and reptiles.

    • Observe over 300 species of birds in this park.

    • Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at camp or lodge.

  • Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam expand_more

    • Go for an early morning game viewing in the park.

    • Mikumi's vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland, with two watering holes- Mkata and Chamgore.

    • Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop and malachite kingfisher, one can also find monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools.

    • Return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast.

    • Drive to Dar es Salaam.
