- First, you will visit the Materuni Waterfalls, about a 40-minute walk from the village. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the Chagga tribe, village life, and the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are really impressive, and with a bit of luck, you will see the summit area of Mount Kilimanjaro. The pool at the foot of the Materuni waterfalls invites you to take a refreshing dip, so don't forget to swim! After taking in the scenery, slowly return with your guide to the village of Materuni, where you'll enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch.
- You will also have the chance to taste our delicious local banana beer. Then experience the coffee brewing tour, where you will learn how coffee is grown, dried, roasted and processed.
