Itinerary

1. Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Accommodations: Client’s selection of public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges
   • In the morning, we drive about 120 km from Arusha/Moshi to your hotel and to Tarangire National Park, where you can see giant baobab trees and large numbers of giant elephants. The African elephant population is more than 300, a highly remarkable adventure. Other animals found in the Tarangire savanna include African tree-climbing lions, giraffes, toothed warthogs, ostriches, impalas, agile cheetahs, mongooses, water buffalo and red-backed baboons. After the day's game, drives to Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara, shower, rest, has dinner and spend the night at your accommodation.

2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

   • Accommodations: Client’s selection of public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges
   • A regional organic breakfast is served on-site in the morning, followed by a trip to the Serengeti National Park. We will take the scenic drive into the Serengeti, allowing for a fantastic bird's eye view of the Ngorongoro Crater. The endless savannah, concentrated in the diverse patterns of zebra, lion and elephant, makes it easy to understand the Serengeti as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa. We will have a picnic lunch on top of a famous kopje (a small hill in a generally flat area) in the Park, allowing you to explore the expanse of Serengeti National Park from the top of the hill. We drive bit by bit towards the Serengeti National Park for a short drive where you can see herds of giraffes, elephants and zebra. Overnight at Hotel/Camp/Lodge in Serengeti National Park.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park.

   • Accommodations: Client’s selection of public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges
   • The day Tanzania Luxury safari begins at your accommodation after an early breakfast amidst the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. As we have a full day of game drives, you will see hundreds of different animals (including the BIG FIVE) that can be found in the endless plains of the Serengeti, Serengeti National Park. On this day, you will witness and marvel at sightings of Tanzanian mammals such as lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah and buffalo. You will have the opportunity to see some majestic animals, including eland, hyena, gazelle, crocodile, giraffe, zebra, monkey, baboon, hippo, rhino and antelope. Depending on the seasons, visitors can see thousands of zebras and wildebeests on their great migration. The hundreds of bird species, both endemic and migratory from different regions, are precious to bird watchers and photographers. After a long game drive, go to your hotel for dinner and overnight, prepare for the short morning game drive and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation to continue the game drive.

4. Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Accommodations: Client’s selection of public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges
   • After breakfast in the morning, gradually explore the Serengeti National Park. The park contained the most animals. This is a day where you will enjoy predators such as lions tracking down other animals as a food source. You might see more hippos, herds of monkeys and families of mongooses that day. After such an early start, a great and delicious lunch awaits you, which will be served in the park. In the afternoon, start your Ngorongoro driving adventure by driving to the accommodation place in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

   • Accommodations: Client’s selection of public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges
   • Departure to Ngorongoro Crater by descending early in the morning as there is a high chance of seeing animals in the morning, especially the "Big 5" animals. The strongest animals of Africa can be seen, such as the lion, the elephant, the leopard, the rhino and the strong buffalo. We will enjoy a leisurely walk in the morning and have lunch near a pond full of hippos inside the crater. Visitors to the Ngorongoro Crater Trail can expect to encounter zebra, hippo, wildebeest, and cackling hyenas, which are home to flocks of graceful flamingos that congregate at Lake Soda, vultures and hawks looking for meal corpses fly eagerly through the sky. Storks, ibises and cranes are also popular waterfowl in the crater. Our game drive ends just after lunch as we begin our journey to Lake Manyara for an overnight stay and dinner.

6. Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha/Moshi

   • Your final day of Tanzania Camping/Lodge safari begins with breakfast and then takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, which stretches across the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara National Park is a wildlife sanctuary of forests, dry scrub, Soda Lake and a bird lover's paradise. The forest is mesmerizing with the chirping of the birds and the fluttering antics of the monkeys in the forest; Giraffes roam the savannah and lions rest in the trees, others rest in the shade of the trees, while families of hippos bathe in the waters of Soda Lake. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the park before returning to Moshi/Arusha, where your best safari adventure ends. On request, we can arrange a transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport.
