Day 1: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Cave Camp
- Elevation: 1200m to 1700m to 2850m, Distance: 11 km, Hiking time: 6 hours, Habitat: Montana forest.
- On the morning of the first day of Kilimanjaro trekking, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Umbwe Gate Point. You register and start your journey through a dense tropical jungle with giant fig trees. You will see different species of animals, Colobus monkeys. As you climb on a clear day, you can admire Kibo Peak in the distance. The climb ends after 6 hours at Umbwe Cave Camp. If you still have energy left, you can visit the nearby Cave. Dinner was followed by an overnight stay and getting ready for the next day's start tour.

Day 2: Umbwe Cave Camp to Barranco Camp
- Elevation: 2850m to 3950m, Distance: 6 km, Hiking time: 4 hours, Habitat: Montana forest and heather
- After breakfast and another trekking process, in no time, you will reach the tree line and the landscape that gradually changes from rainforest to moss-covered trees and heather. You'll follow a challenging ridge that will eventually lead you into the Barranco Valley near Barranco Camp, which sits nearly 13,000 feet in the shadow of Barranco's Great Wall. In the Barranco camp, the three routes Lemosho, Shira, and Machame are combined with the Umbwe ascent of—dinner and overnight at Camp Barranco.

Day 3: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
- Distance: 10 km, Hiking time: 8 hours
- After breakfast, begin your ascent from Barranco Camp near the Barranco Great Wall and continue to Karanga Valley Camp. This point of the Kilimanjaro trek is challenging but offers excellent views of the southern Kibo Glaciers. From Karanga Valley Camp, we continue along a ridge to Barafu Camp—dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
- Elevation: 4620m to 5895m to 3100m, Distance: 15km, Hiking time: 10 – 12 hours, Habitat: Desert and ice
- Night climb with lantern from Barafu Camp through boulders and snow to the summit of Uhuru Peak of Kilimanjaro. After a few hours, you will reach Stella Point on the rim of Kilimanjaro Crater. With good visibility, you can experience a magnificent sunrise here, and after an hour, you will reach the summit of Uhuru Peak. Now you stand on the roof of Africa and enjoy the best viewpoint in Africa. You will then start descending to Camp Barafu, rest there for a while and continue your descent to Camp Mweka.

Day 5: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Arusha / Moshi
- Elevation: 3100m to 1700m, Distance: 9km, Descending time: 4 hours, Habitat: Montana forest
- After breakfast, today is your last day on the mountain, so descend through Montana forest to the gate of Mweka Park. This descent takes 4 hours. Then, check out at the gate and prepare to board the vehicle for transfer back to Moshi/Arusha.
