The waterfalls are situated in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. The source of the water comes directly from the glacier on top of Kilimanjaro. Passing through green areas where the most fantastic trees and exotic plants also grow. About a 40-minute drive from Moshi town, from which you have a very nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, located in the beautiful countryside of Marangu surrounded by lush landscapes, you will find this hidden waterfall.

Marangu Waterfalls Excursion
- After spending time with the Chagga tribe, it’s time to explorer the the Marangu Waterfalls. We take a hike through the tropical rainforest that will lead us across monkeys, tropical birds and stunning landscapes.
The local guide will explain about the tropical plants and flowers during the walk, and after 40 minutes, you reach the waterfall. The source of the waterfall comes directly from the glacier of the Kilimanjaro. It’s crystal-clear water is a refreshing natural shower or a stunning place to swim, so don’t forget your swimsuit! Here, we will take our lunch and enjoy the scenery of this hidden waterfall.
